RBI Summer Internship 2024: The Reserve Bank of India has begun the online application process for it’s Summer Internship programme 2024. Eligible candidates can fill the online form on the official website of RBI at opportunities.rbi.org.in.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Eligibility criteria
Students who are eligible to apply for the RBI summer placement program include those pursuing post-graduate courses, integrated five-year courses in Management, Statistics, Law, Commerce, Economics, Econometrics, Banking, or Finance, as well as those enrolled in three-year full-time professional bachelor’s degrees in Law from reputable institutions in India.
Only students in the penultimate year (second-last year before graduating) of their course are eligible to apply for this opportunity. The application process involves filling out an online web-based form, which is available on the official RBI website at opportunities.rbi.org.in from today, October 15 to December 15 of the previous year for internships starting in April of the following year.

RBI Summer Internship 2024: Stipend and other benefits
Selected summer trainees are eligible for a monthly stipend of ₹20,000. However, outstation trainees must arrange their own accommodation. Summer trainees are also required to sign a declaration of secrecy before starting their internship. Outstation candidates who are selected will be reimbursed for their AC II Tier return fare by rail (or equivalent amount) for travel between their institute and the place of summer placement.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Selection processThe selection process will identify a maximum of 125 students for summer placement each year. Interviews for shortlisted candidates will take place in January or February at designated RBI offices. The names of selected candidates will be announced in February or March.
RBI Summer Internship 2024: Foreign students can also apply
Foreign students enrolled in fields such as economics, finance, banking, management, and law at universities or institutes abroad may also apply for the program. However, selected trainees from abroad will be required to undertake their projects only at the Central Office departments of the RBI, which are located in Mumbai.
