Rural Areas: Students residing in rural areas (villages or towns with less than 10,000 population as per 2011 census) of the district are eligible.

Documents Required for JNVST 2025 Application

JNVST 2025: Selection Process
JNVST is conducted in two phases:
Phase 1 (Optional): This phase is optional and held in November 2024 (tentative). Students appearing for this phase will receive separate admit cards.
Phase 2: The main selection test is scheduled for January 18, 2025 (tentative) for students who do not appear for Phase 1 or those who qualify in Phase 1. There will be a separate exam for students from hilly areas in April 2025 (tentative).
The selection is based on the performance in the JNVST exam. The syllabus and exam pattern for JNVST are designed to assess a student’s ability in Mental Ability, Mathematics, and Science.
