JNVST 2025 Class 6 registration last date to register today: Check apply online link to register now

The Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) will officially close the registration window for the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST) 2025 today, October 7, 2024. Interested and eligible candidates who have not registered yet, can visit the official website, navodaya.gov.in to register themselves. Previously, the application deadline was on September 23, 2024.
To apply for the JNV 2025 entrance exam, students need to provide their registration number and date of birth.If they do not have a registration number, they can retrieve it from the official website by entering their name, along with their parents’ names and their date of birth.
The JNVST 2025 will be conducted in two phases: January 18 and April 12, 2025. The exam on January 18 will be held for most states and union territories, while the April 12 exam will focus on specific regions, including parts of Jammu and Kashmir, Arunachal Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and West Bengal. The entrance exam will consist of 80 questions, totalling 100 marks.

JNV Registrations 2025: Steps to apply

Eligible candidates or their parents can complete the online application for Navodaya Vidyalaya Class 6 admissions by following these steps:

  • Go to the official website: navodaya.gov.in.
  • On the homepage, click the link for the JNVST Class 6 admission form 2024.
  • Fill in the required details on the form.
  • Upload the necessary documents and pay the application fee.
  • Submit the form and print a copy for future reference.

When applying online, candidates must upload the following documents in JPG format, with file sizes ranging from 10 to 100 KB:

  • A certificate verified by the Head Master of the candidate’s current school, including the required details.
  • A recent photograph.
  • Signatures of both the candidate and a parent.
  • Aadhaar details or a residence certificate issued by a relevant government authority.
