TS Inter Exam 2025: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has released the fee payment schedule for the upcoming Intermediate Public Examinations (IPE) March 2025. As per the official notice, students will need to pay their examination fees within the prescribed deadlines to avoid late fees. The board has also announced an increase in the examination fee for both regular and vocational courses, adding further responsibility for students and parents alike.
The fee payment for the Telangana IPE March 2025 exams can be made without any late fee from November 6 to November 26, 2024. Students who miss this deadline will be allowed to make payments with a late fee, which increases depending on how late the payment is made. The IPE 2025 exams are crucial for over nine lakh students across the state, with candidates from both first-year and second-year general, vocational, and failed categories required to follow this schedule.
Fee Hike Announced for 2025
The Telangana government has raised the examination fees for students appearing in the IPE 2025 exams. For first-year students in general courses, the fee has been increased to Rs 520, up from Rs 510 in the previous year. Similarly, second-year general arts students will now pay Rs 520 for their exams.
For vocational courses, both first and second-year students will pay Rs 750, which includes Rs 520 for theory and Rs 230 for practicals. This is a hike from the previous fee of Rs 730 for vocational courses. This fee structure is applicable to both regular and failed candidates, as well as attendance-exempted private candidates from arts and humanities groups.
Exam Fee Payment Deadlines
The Telangana IPE 2025 exam fee payment schedule provides several options for late fee payments as well. Students who miss the initial deadline can still pay their fees with a late fee, depending on how late they are:
Attendance Exemption for Private Students
The TGBIE has introduced an attendance exemption for private students in the humanities stream, which allows them to appear for the exam even if they have not met the regular attendance requirements. These students must submit their applications through the official website and pay an exemption fee of Rs 500 by November 20, 2024. A late fee of Rs 200 will apply for applications submitted after this deadline, with the final date for late submissions being December 18, 2024.
With these changes, the TGBIE has set clear guidelines for fee payments, ensuring that all candidates are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines. Students and parents are urged to follow the schedule meticulously to avoid penalties and ensure smooth participation in the exams.
